Very solid card. This is my first Zotac card after exclusively using EVGA and MSI for the last 10 years or so. I wasn't sure what to expect from this brand but I've been pleasantly surprised. The build quality is solid, and the card runs very cool with quiet fans. After doing some tweaking and overclocking of my own the card under load only hits around 80C with fans that are barely noticeable. Coil whine is nonexistent. It's unfortunate that this card and other 2080's will be review bombed by people with 1080ti's angry at Nvidia about price because so far this is a great card that easily blows through every game I can throw at it on ultra settings. I was upgrading from a 970 so this purchase made sense for me. The addition of ray tracing for visual fidelity and DLSS for performance will make this card's divide between the 1080ti increase over time. |

Fantastic card, stays quiet and cool. So far this card has been fantastic. I upgraded from a Zotac 1070, and saw a large improvement in the games I've played so far. Yes, if you have a 1080 or 1080 ti, it's probably not worth upgrading, but anything lower I'd recommend this. As new drivers arrive and support comes out, this card will perform better. The card is very quiet, and stays pretty cool compared to the founder edition Nvidia cards (thanks to the massive cooler of course). The price is steep, and it may make sense for most to wait until they drop in price, but it's still a fantastic card with a lot of future proof technology that WILL blow the 10 series away... Eventually... :PAlso, the packaging is pretty neat. |
